CBTT: Annual Report 2007

The Trinidad and Tobago economy recorded real GDP growth in 2007 of around 5.5 per cent with the non-energy sector growing at a faster rate than the energy sector. The rate of growth in 2007 represented a substantial slowdown from the previous year’s rate of 12.2 per cent which reflected a full year’s production from two major operations, Atlantic LNG Train IV and M5000, a new methanol plant.
