Hope for Haiti

The IDB will forgive all of Haiti’s debt with the Bank and convert undisbursed loans to the country into grants. Moreover, the IDB Board of Governors recently agreed to increase grants to Haiti to more than $2 billion over the next decade. The IDB is working closely with the Haitian government and the international community to support Haiti’s long-term national development plan.
