The aim of this paper was to determine whether living arrangements and personal experiences of childhood influence the occurrence of abuse of children in Dominica. The objectives of the study were to: 1) determine the living arrangements of the abused children; 2) determine the psycho-social status of abused children; 3) compare abused children, with their age-specific population.
