Barbados has embarked on a system-wide school improvement programme entitled the Education Sector Enhancement Programme (ESEP), or EduTech 2000, as it is familiarly know. The Programme was conceptualised in order to formalise the linkages between and among the education, social and economic sectors, all in an effort to aid in the country's sustainable growth and development.
