ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT UNIT. Report on Regional Dialogue on Civil Society Participation for Sustainable Development Castries, St. Lucia. 15 to 16 June, 2004

The expected outcomes of the dialogue were: i. Recommendations on the strategic direction for giving effect to Principle 4 of the St. George’s Declaration of Principles for Environmental Sustainability. ii. A framework for coordination among agencies involved in small grants programmes; and iii. Elements of a document on civil society engagement and environmental management issues in the OECS Region. This document is to be presented to the Small Island Deve loping States (SIDS) meeting in Mauritius in 2005.
