Although few can dispute the significant implications of the proposed appellate jurisdiction of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) for the region as a whole, it is most likely to be the case that the greatest impact of the court in the lives of the peoples of the region will be felt by virtue of its Original Jurisdiction.
