Draft country programme document for the Republic of Suriname (2008 – 2011)

Between January 2006 and February 2007, the United Nations organizations in Suriname – UNDP, UNFPA, United Nations Children’s Fund and the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization – undertook a country programming process, with contributions from a number of non-resident organizations. The result was the common country assessment (CCA), 2006; an analysis of the development challenges facing Suriname from the perspective of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs); and the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF), 2008-2011, which integrates national development priorities outlined in the multi-annual development plan, 2006-2011
