Preliminary assesment of Tourism sector in the context of physical alterations and destruction of habitats (PADH) in the wider caribbean region

Tourism has increased over the years in the Caribbean’s economy generating one-fifth of all jobs and accounting for one-fourth of foreign exchange earnings (UNEP 1999(a). Therefore, this assessment is to asses how much damage it is doing to the environment and how it can be dealt with sustainably.
