Development Profile
Each profile provides information and access to source documents on economic policy and performance, education, health and other social and environmental issues. A list of Key Documents is included for each country.
Additionally, the included ICT Profiles highlight progress made towards building a Caribbean information society in the Caribbean. The focus is on government responsiveness to the WSIS (Geneva) Plan of Action. (2003), and includes:
- ICT Policy, as indicated in major government statements on the issues, especially, the national budget address, or other statements where the focus is on the information and communications sector.
- Strategic plan for the development of ICTs
- Institutions assigned to lead ICT development initiatives
- E-Government initiatives
- Enabling legislation
